Job Description
Zebra is seeking a Software Engineer to collaborate closely with development teams in testing and ensuring software quality. This role involves exploratory, regression, and integration testing of software products, including those integrated into larger systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in programming, automation, and testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute new test scenarios for exploratory and regression testing.
Automate test cases using scripting languages or testing tools like Pytest, NUnit, JUnit, or Playwright.
Validate software functionality based on user requirements and specifications.
Investigate and verify bug reports from customers, working closely with them to reproduce issues..

Conduct integration testing, including cross-platform compatibility and hardware interoperability.

Document software defects with detailed test setups and reproduction steps.
Assess the usability and visual consistency of graphical user interfaces.
Compare features with competitors and prepare performance benchmarks.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in Python and Java/C# programming.

Strong understanding of various software testing concepts.
Knowledge of Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Prompt Engineering.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
Basic familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

6 months – 2 years of professional experience in software testing or development.
