Role Summary
McAfee is seeking talented Software Development Engineers who are passionate about building high-performance, cloud-native applications. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining distributed systems on platforms like AWS and GCP with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and security.

This role is hybrid, with minimal in-office presence required, making it ideal for candidates located within commuting distance of Bangalore. Relocation support is not available.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop cloud-based applications that are reliable, secure, and scalable.

Create and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark / PySpark, integrating them with cloud-native services.

Monitor and ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure in cloud environments.

Work in collaboration with developers, QA (SDETs), DevOps, researchers, and system teams to streamline software deployment and performance.

Build dashboards and analytics tools for operational visibility, model tracking, and business intelligence.

Contribute to the ML lifecycle—from data ingestion and preprocessing to deployment, evaluation, and feedback mechanisms.

Who You Are – Skills & Qualities
Strong programming skills in Python and .NET, with practical knowledge of unit testing frameworks.

Deep understanding of cloud platforms—Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—and their associated tools/services.

Exposure to AI/ML concepts and experience with tools like MLFlow is an advantage.

Familiar with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) technologies.

Knowledge of cloud security principles and how to apply them in software and infrastructure design.

Comfortable working with SQL and NoSQL databases, adapting to evolving application requirements.
