Job Description:

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background and experience in various data technologies and software development. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Spark, Hive, HDFS, MapReduce, and streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis. Additionally, proficiency in version control tools such as Git or Subversion, automated build systems (CI/CD), and working knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, and Scala is essential.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a valuable member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

- Utilizing Spark, Hive, HDFS, MapReduce, and streaming technologies to process and analyze large datasets.

- Collaborating with version control tools like Git and Subversion to manage codebase efficiently.

- Implementing automated build systems as part of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Working with different programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala to develop scalable and efficient data solutions.

- Applying knowledge of data structures and algorithms to optimize data processing tasks.

- Managing and building scalable data models for various database technologies, including Relational, NoSQL, Graph, Document, Key-Value, and Time Series databases.

- Demonstrating expertise in cloud-based platforms, particularly AWS.

- Applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles to ensure the quality of data solutions.

- Displaying a strong commitment to enhancing skills in ETL, software development, frameworks, and emerging technologies.

Eligibility:

The ideal candidate should possess:

- Proven experience working with Spark, Hive, HDFS, MapReduce, and streaming platforms.

- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Subversion).

- Hands-on experience with automated build systems in a CI/CD environment.

- Proficiency in Java, Python, and Scala.

- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
