Role Overview:
AutomationEdge is seeking a motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves a blend of manual and automated testing, focusing on ensuring high-quality releases. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding product requirements, translating them into business scenarios, and developing detailed test cases.

Responsibilities:
- Perform both manual and automated testing based on release priorities.
- Understand end product requirements and translate them into real-time business scenarios.
- Develop detailed test cases from test scenarios.
- Design automated test scripts using tools like Selenium.
- Conduct cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility.
- Create and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Execute tests and manage the defect lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Work with various databases, including PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and Oracle.
- Handle different operating systems like Windows Server, Ubuntu, Linux, and Mac.
- Perform functional, integration, linguistic, system/performance, and UAT testing.

Must-Have Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts.
- Experience in functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Knowledge of the defect lifecycle.
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium.
- Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman.
- Tech-savvy with an interest in new technologies.
- Hands-on experience with databases like MSSQL, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Must-Have Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.
- Ability to interact easily with clients and stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills:
- ISTQB Foundation certification.
- Experience with mobile app testing using tools like Appium.
- Experience with chatbot/NLU/NLP testing (not mandatory).
- Knowledge of Python and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with CI/CD processes.

Eligibility Criteria

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-1 years of experience in a QA role.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with test automation tools, API testing, and various databases.
