We are seeking a full-time Associate Software Engineer to join our agile team, contributing to the delivery of a rich e-learning experience globally. As a part of this role, you will design and develop secure and performant applications using various technologies like .NET, ReactJS, Kafka, SQL, Angular, and more. The ideal candidate is passionate about building quality software and is comfortable working in an agile delivery model.

Opportunity Highlights:

- Play a key role in developing core features of our enterprise SaaS product.

- Code, unit test, implement, and maintain new and existing modules and applications.

- Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) engineers during the testing process.

- Consider long-term architectural and performance strategies when designing and coding solutions.

- Contribute to ongoing product quality and customer satisfaction by reducing defects.

- Provide technical and functional guidance to the team as needed.

- Collaborate within a project team to optimize the performance of complex software systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve problems.

- Collaborate with cloud operations, customer support, quality assurance, and others as needed.

Skills Qualifications:

- Bachelors or master’s in computer science or a related field.

- 0-2 years of enterprise software development experience.

- Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, .NET Core.

- Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in client frameworks such as ReactJS, jQuery, AngularJS, JavaScript.

- Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in MS SQL 2017, along with exposure to NoSQL DB like Cassandra/MongoDB.

- Exposure to event frameworks such as Kafka.

- Strong analytical skills and object-oriented design capabilities.

- Strong debugging skills and experience troubleshooting customer-reported issues.

- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, agile work environment and deliver value incrementally and frequently.

- Dedication to unit testing and automated testing of developed functionality.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships.

- Innovative, resourceful, passionate about creating high-quality, high-performance, and highly available software.
