From architecting software for high-performance processors to creating tools that validate and test silicon, you’ll gain holistic exposure to the software development lifecycle, while collaborating with product, systems, applications, and customer teams to solve real-world challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at TI, you will:
Design and implement embedded software that drives functionality and performance across TI’s advanced semiconductor products.

Develop automated test frameworks and tools that ensure product reliability and efficiency.

Write low-level firmware to control chip behavior in innovative and performance-critical applications.

Partner with cross-functional teams—engineering, marketing, and customer engagement—to ensure software aligns with business needs.

Learn and apply best practices for real-time embedded systems, debugging techniques, and software optimization.

Contribute to the development of Software Development Kits (SDKs), sample applications, and technical documentation.

Support customers through the development lifecycle—providing insight, solutions, and direct technical assistance.

Engage in open-source software integration and software IP management.

Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible to apply if you meet the following:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline.

A minimum GPA of 6.0/10 or equivalent academic performance.

Hands-on knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.

Familiarity with assembly language programming and real-time systems.

Strong grasp of software engineering principles and full lifecycle development.
