Role and Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer at RSA, you will play a key role in creating innovative solutions for our customers. You will analyze business goals and requirements to design technical solutions, focusing on mobile development, automation, and quality aspects. Your responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software environments.
- Creating, reviewing, and evaluating software/storage specifications.
- Developing and implementing test strategies for complex software and storage products.
- Designing, developing, integrating, testing, and deploying significant parts of the software platform and applications.
- Analyzing and optimizing application code for efficiency and performance.
- Prioritizing strong and secure coding practices.
- Participating in new product concepts and development, delivering product prototypes.
- Conducting research on new technologies and contributing to the design of software components.
- Collaborating with product and program teams.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or Electronics and Communication.
- Strong understanding of the Windows Operating System, with knowledge of UNIX (or its flavors) and macOS being advantageous.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming using C++.
- Familiarity with Windows, data structures, algorithms, and threads.
Desirable Requirements:
- Understanding of security fundamentals such as authentication and cryptography.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and TLS/SSL.
- Experience in building REST clients.
- Familiarity with security mechanisms in Windows and Unix.
- Proficiency with Software Configuration Management tools.
- Experience with developer testing practices and CI/CD environments.
- Excellent communication, analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts.
- Experience working in global teams and agile environments.
- Domain knowledge of the information security industry.
