As a Software Engineer I, you’ll join a dynamic team developing high-impact solutions for NIKE’s digital and retail platforms, enhancing customer experiences across the globe.

Who We're Looking For:
We’re seeking highly motivated, tech-curious, and team-oriented entry-level engineers who are ready to solve real-world problems using cutting-edge tools. If you're eager to build scalable applications and contribute to global technology initiatives, NIKE could be your next big step.

Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Proficiency or academic experience with Java and Spring Boot

Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture

Familiarity with SQL (MySQL, Oracle) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) databases

Exposure to test-driven development tools like JUnit or Mockito

Interest in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

Awareness of DevOps and CI/CD tools and processes

Understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., Kibana, Grafana, Splunk) is a plus

Curiosity to learn and contribute in an agile, fast-paced environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Your Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer I, your role will include:

Building robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot

Designing scalable and efficient RESTful services

Collaborating with global teams, architects, and product managers to deliver business solutions

Participating in code reviews and agile ceremonies

Contributing to the continuous integration and deployment lifecycle

Monitoring system health and ensuring production readiness

Documenting technical solutions and sharing knowledge with peers

Advocating for performance improvements and best coding practices

Supporting post-deployment operations and rotating production support
