Description for Java Backend Developer:
Digitap is seeking Java Backend Developers to join our engineering team and contribute to the development and maintenance of various software products in Onboarding, Alternate Data, and other categories. As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, writing, and testing code, as well as deployment and debugging issues. You will engage with customers on requirements and participate in product roadmap development and feature rollout by collaborating closely with other teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and test code for software products.
- Deploy and debug software applications.
- Engage with customers to gather requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams on product roadmap development and feature rollout.
- Ensure software quality through code reviews and testing.

Eligibility Criteria:
- BE/BTech qualification.
- Strong programming fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Java programming language with a good understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Understanding of database fundamentals (SQL).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with any Java web framework.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).

Academic Criteria:
- CGPA of 75% and above or equivalent grade in the current UG/PG being pursued with no history of arrears.
- 10th & 12th exams of 80% and above.
