Job Role:
As a Python Developer, you will work on server-side development, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build advanced applications in the fields of marketing analytics and real-world evidence analytics. You will be involved in multiple product modules or across various products based on business needs. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI designers, data scientists, UI developers, and client-facing teams, to ensure seamless product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop server-side features for innovative products focused on marketing analytics and real-world evidence analytics.
- Collaborate with data scientists and front-end developers to refine requirements and build the backend accordingly.
- Assist the software architect with day-to-day communication with the onsite team and client business units.
- Ensure seamless integration between the analytics layer, middle layer, and front-end layer through effective communication with front-end developers and data scientists.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for various product features.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization to enhance product functionality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Python development and server-side frameworks.
- Proficient in developing REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Solid experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL.
- Familiarity with ORM (Object Relational Mapping) libraries.
- Knowledge of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy is an added advantage.
- Experience working with Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team.
