Role and Responsibilities:

As a Java Developer at ADP, you'll be part of a dynamic team focused on developing scalable software solutions to support our backend applications. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with teams across the company to leverage technologies for enhancing backend applications.
- Developing new features, enhancements, and resolving defects for web, mobile, and IoT solutions.
- Participating in Agile scrums to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and prioritize coding tasks.
- Ensuring timely delivery of features within two-week sprints while maintaining coding standards.
- Engaging in conversations with project managers, Quality Assurance, and customers to understand requirements and foster collaboration.
- Continuously learning new coding techniques and exploring open-source communities to stay updated with industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing, building, and operating scalable software systems and services for Workforce Management Solution using Biometrics as Service.
- Ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and scalability of delivered software.
- Coordinating with other product teams and business stakeholders to align technical initiatives.
- Leading significant technical initiatives involving cross-functional teams.

Eligibility:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in a similar role.
- Experience with high-volume service-oriented architectures (SOA) and web services technologies such as REST and HTTP.
- Proficiency in server-side frameworks like JSP, JSF, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and standard internet technologies such as HTML5 and AngularJS.
- Experience in mobile software development, preferably with Amazon’s AWS.
