Job Summary
Panasonic is looking for a JavaScript SDK Developer to enhance and optimize the design, performance, and quality of our JavaScript SDK. This role involves working with JavaScript, HTML5, Kotlin for JS, and other modern web technologies to develop robust applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have a passion for innovation and a strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop JavaScript APIs and Audio/Video players for airline clients.
Collaborate with SDK developers to create end-to-end, industry-leading solutions.
Prototype new ideas to improve the user experience.
Develop and debug JavaScript APIs using JavaScript, HTML, Kotlin for JS, etc.
Optimize code and ensure performance enhancements.
Implement automated tests, continuous builds, and CI/CD pipelines.
Create and maintain API documentation and conduct peer reviews.
Work in an agile environment, continuously learning and improving development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
0 to 4 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks like TypeScript, Angular, or Node.js.
Experience with REST APIs and debugging code for performance optimization.
Familiarity with client-side Single Page Applications (SPA) using modern frameworks.
Knowledge of unit/integration testing methodologies.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience with media players such as HLS, HTML5, and Shaka Player.
Knowledge of Linux platforms and shell scripting.
Experience working with various media file types.
Understanding of Kotlin for JS.
Experience in creating APIs and detailed documentation.
